Urgent requirement: we are hiring a butcher in Franklin County, Alabama. The job is at a wholesale meat market. You should have: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler The role involves vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
