Paint and prep technician • Baker County, Florida

Great opportunity: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Baker County, Florida. You will work in a car refinishing workshop. The role involves: • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair Requirements: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
