Landscape gardener • Gombi, Adamawa State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Gombi, Adamawa State. The job is on the grounds of a hotel resort. Day-to-day duties: • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Valid driving licence for travel between sites 5+ years on the tools preferred.
