Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Piatt County, Illinois. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery The role involves: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
