Furniture maker • Ballia, Uttar Pradesh

We are recruiting: we are hiring a furniture maker in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. You will work on a busy construction site. The role involves: • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours We are looking for able to read technical drawings and cutting lists; sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings; physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
