On a typical shift you will remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres; repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches; balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights; log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement.
