The role involves clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. ₦70,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
