Now hiring: we are hiring a site carpenter in Union County, Illinois. The job is at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Good eye for detail and a clean finish You will read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
