Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sample machinist in Boki, Cross River State. What we are looking for: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. ₦180,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
