Gantry crane operator — Willacy County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Willacy County, Texas. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. On the job you will handle: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
