Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Patrick County, Virginia. The job is on the CNC turning shop floor. You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Day to day you will watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; load and index turning tools in the turret; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; write and edit G-code programs at the control. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
