Now hiring: gas meter installer (Iowa)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections You should have: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $18 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
