Immediate opening: we are hiring a flat roof installer in City of Richmond, Virginia. You will work on residential new-build sites. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day Your main tasks: • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing Part-time with flexible hours.
