Glass and glazing technician — Borough of Halton

Great opportunity: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Borough of Halton, England. You will be based on a construction site. You will install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; install toughened and laminated safety glass; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames. What we are looking for: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units Overtime paid at a premium rate.
