Trowel-trade bricklayer • Faulk County, South Dakota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Faulk County, South Dakota. Day to day you will erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
