Retail butcher — Woodward County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a retail butcher in Woodward County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. On a typical shift you will keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife. Requirements: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
