Fabricator-welder — Henry County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Henry County, Iowa. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
