Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Maricopa County, Arizona. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight The role involves: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job Full-time, day shift.
