Aluminium tig welder — Avery County

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Avery County, North Carolina. You will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
