Sheet metal welder wanted in Troup County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Troup County, Georgia. The role involves: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Overtime paid at a premium rate.
