Urgent requirement: milling machine operator (Idaho)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Bear Lake County, Idaho. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Your main tasks: • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines 4+ years on the tools preferred.
