Garden maintenance worker — North Ayrshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in North Ayrshire, Scotland. You will be based on a golf course. Day to day you will sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers Full-time, day shift.
