Site safety steward • Kent County, Maryland

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site safety steward in Kent County, Maryland. You should have: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot The role involves carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
