Health and safety supervisor — Lyon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Lyon County, Kansas. Your main tasks: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment You should have: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $29 per hour plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
