You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Day to day you will chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service.
