Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete placer in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors What we are looking for: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
