Great opportunity: finishing presser (Minnesota)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a finishing presser in Otter Tail County, Minnesota. You will be based in a garment export house. You will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
