Gang bricklayer wanted in Bastrop County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Bastrop County, Texas. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. On the job you will handle: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge Requirements: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
