Immediate opening: we are hiring a captain waiter in Laurel County, Kentucky. The job is in a café. Day to day you will lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery; upsell starters, desserts and beverages; pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left; greet guests, seat them and present the menu; follow food hygiene and allergen-handling rules; take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad. What we are looking for: • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Willingness to work weekends, evenings and split shifts • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
