Finishing presser — Harford County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a finishing presser in Harford County, Maryland. The job is in a busy laundry. On a typical shift you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience.
