JCB operator wanted in Erie County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a JCB operator in Erie County, New York. The job is in an open-cast quarry. The role involves inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
