Urgent requirement: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Whitman County, Washington. The role involves maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. What we are looking for: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
