Now hiring: production line operator (Iowa)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a production line operator in Guthrie County, Iowa. The job is at an injection moulding unit. The role involves: • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers You should have: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
