Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Scott County, Minnesota. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Your main tasks: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Six days a week, one day off.
