Immediate opening: lift maintenance fitter (Texas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Cooke County, Texas. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Day-to-day duties: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway Full-time, day shift. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
