Earthmoving equipment operator wanted in Putnam County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Putnam County, New York. You will be based on a dam or embankment job. Day to day you will rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels. What we are looking for: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
