Immediate opening: metal caster (Alabama)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Clay County, Alabama. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. On a typical shift you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
