Immediate opening: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Rappahannock County, Virginia. The role involves mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone. You should have: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
