Vacancy available: we are hiring a demolition labourer in Douglas County, Minnesota. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Day-to-day duties: • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
