Hoist operator • Itawamba County, Mississippi

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hoist operator in Itawamba County, Mississippi. You will be based on a busy construction site. You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work The role involves set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
