Gas commissioning technician • Mahoning County, Ohio

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Mahoning County, Ohio. The job is at a boiler and appliance service centre. Day-to-day duties: • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply Requirements: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
