Great opportunity: plant operator (New York)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in Ulster County, New York. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Your main tasks: • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Good attention to detail and steady hands Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
