HGV driver • Lenoir County, North Carolina

Vacancy available: we are hiring a HGV driver in Lenoir County, North Carolina. You will be based at a container freight yard. You will operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays. Ideal candidate: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
