Glass fitter • Wayne County, Pennsylvania

We are recruiting: we are hiring a glass fitter in Wayne County, Pennsylvania. You will work in a shopfront glazing company. On a typical shift you will read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; replace cracked or broken window panes; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves Six days a week, one day off.
