Join our team: we are hiring an ironing operator in Calhoun County, West Virginia. The job is at a textile finishing unit. You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep The role involves use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. 6+ years on the tools preferred. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
