Now hiring: concrete labourer (Oregon)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Multnomah County, Oregon. The job is on a road and bridge project. On the job you will handle: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
