Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane rigger in Hampshire County, West Virginia. You will work at a container port. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles The role involves carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; read lift plans and method statements before starting; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position.
