Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Marshall County, Indiana. Day to day you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits.
