We are recruiting: we are hiring a confectioner in Alamosa County, Colorado. You will be based at a busy bakery. You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Food handler / hygiene certificate The role involves proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; score the top of loaves before baking; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer.
