Fabricator-welder — Kershaw County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Kershaw County, South Carolina. You will work on an industrial construction site. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium On a typical shift you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). 2+ years on the tools preferred. $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
